You can watch Paramount+ without spending a dime. Here are the best ways to get the network for free.
Trying to watch some Star Trek and Big Brother? Paramount+ costs $4.99 (with commercials) or $9.99 (no commercials) per month.
Keep reading for how to test out Paramount without spending money.
Like most streaming services, you try out Paramount+ for free without subscribing. Paramount offers a 7-day free trial of the service. You can watch all Paramount movies, shows, and new original programming exclusive to Paramount+ during the free trial.
There is no contract and you can cancel online at any time.
Note: When you sign up, you’ll need to link a method of payment and you’ll be automatically charged at the end of the trial.
To avoid being charged, make a note on your calendar when the 7-day trial ends. Otherwise, you’ll be charged monthly, whether or not you want to keep the service.
Currently, the Paramount+ official website is only offering a 7-day free trial. However, they occasionally offer promo codes for 30 days free. This is usually around the release of a new season of a popular show. Keep your eyes peeled!
You can also get 50% off an annual subscription with the code YEAR (though it’s not clear when this promo will end, so act fast).
But there are other ways to get a free month.
Amazon is now offering one free month of Paramount+ to Prime members. To redeem the promo, sign in through Prime Video and you can watch movies and shows via the Amazon Prime Video app.
And that’s on top of the 2-day shipping, (usually) free returns, and literally thousands of items on Amazon.
You cannot log in with an existing cable service to watch Paramount+. To access the service, you’ll need to pay the full Paramount+ price (either $4.99 with commercials or $9.99 without commercials).
These fees come after the Paramount+ free trial period.
Note: If you eventually want the no-commercials plan, you can save roughly 16% by choosing the annual subscription ($9.99 monthly vs. $99.99 yearly).
Paramount+ carries over 30,000 episodes of some of the most popular shows ever. In comparison, CBS All Access (Paramount’s predecessor) only provided about 10,000 episodes.
