Method 1: Bypass Lock Screen Pattern, PIN or Password with Lock Screen Removal
The first way to remove the lock screen pattern, PIN or password is pretty simple. But you should now download the Lock Screen Removal program on your computer by clicking the download button below.
Plug LG into PC
After you download and install the program, please run it on your computer and on the interface, you need to go to “Lock Screen Removal” tool. Then plug your LG smartphone into PC via the USB cable and click on “Start” button.
Choose Your Device model Information
Select the device model information for your LG phone. Then click on the “Next” button to continue.
Enter Download Mode
Please follow the guide on the program to put your smartphone into download mode. Then the program would automatically match the phone model.
Remove Screen Lock on LG
Now, please click on “Remove” button on the interface, and then you can bypass the locked screen and use your smartphone normally.
Method 2: Erase and Reset Lock Screen with Android Device Manager
The other method is using Android Device Manager to remove the screen lock on LG. But your device must:
1. Be switched-on;
2. Have been connected to the internet;
3. Have installed Google account.
Now, let’s begin to erase and reset lock screen on LG smartphone.
Go to the webpage: www.google.com/android/devicemanager on your computer and log in your google account with same account info which were used to configure on the locked device.
Choose the device you want to remove lock screen from and then you can see there are three options: Ring, Lock and Erase. Please click on “Lock”.
Please enter the new password, recovery message and phone number on the pop-up window. Click on the “Lock” button and the old password would be disabled.
After that, you can go to your LG and enter the new password you just set. You can also go to Settings on your device to reset the temporary password.
